Robotics

Children can discover if their aptitudes and interests correspond to those skills that will define the job market of the future, like programming, science technology or engineering.

Working on a robot stimulates students to build their engineering intuition and emphasizes the meaningful problem-based learning through the integration and application of their knowledge. Strategic problem-solving, computational thinking, higher order thinking, logical and analytical reasoning: these are just a few examples of the abilities developed by educational robotics, abilities that will be fundamental in a lot of professional areas.

R+ Scratch – This helper app allows use of MIT’s Scratch 2.0 block-programming environment for a fast and easy way to learn programming basics with the ROBOTIS Play 700 and included CM-50 controller. (Ages 6+) -

RoboPlus 2.0 – Our proprietary R+ Task 2.0 application is a hybrid drag-and-drop graphical user interface (GUI) for programming ROBOTIS controllers and actuators while R+ Motion 2.0 is a powerful motion editing tool for quickly and easily creating complex robot poses and fluid movements.

Use of R+ Design provides a 3D-interactive, step-by-step assembly guide and may be used to prototype new design creations based on the ROBOTIS parts catalog with “Inventor Mode.” These software applications are a great fit for PLAY,

DREAM, STEM and BIOLOID kits in addition to the ROBOTIS Mini humanoid kit. (Ages 8+) - RoboPlus Mobile – These mobile versions of our RoboPlus 2.0 software can be used with Google Android and Apple iOS-enabled devices and are available for download from the Google Play App Store and Apple App Store, respectively.
